Almost all the world’s religions were formed not long after the end of the last world. Thus religion has an important role to play in this discussion. The Old Testament is a record of the catastrophes discussed by Immanuel Velikovsky in Worlds in Collision. Pythagoras lived over 500 years before the events recorded in the New Testament. The same secret society, the ancestors or progenitors of the same relatively small group of men, that controls our world controlled theirs. It does not matter what your personal beliefs are, whether you are an atheist, an agnostic, or just don’t think about the subject, to dismiss the ancient texts associated with religions as irrelevant to this discussion is ludicrous. What did the man we refer to as Christ Jesus know when he said:
for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be
The Book of Daniel in the Old Testament to which Christ Jesus refers in Matthew 24 says essentially the same thing, some unimaginably huge catastrophe is about to happen to the earth and its inhabitants.
there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation
We think of this as “prophesy” (inspired visions of the future), but it is much more likely that both men learned what they knew from the Pythagoreans. Essentially the same thing happened in our time when a high-ranking Freemason broke his oath of silence and confided in Mary Baker Eddy exactly what was going to happen. If you cannot listen to these religious leaders, then perhaps you will listen to a famous Latin poet.
Yeshuuʕ or Ishoʕ
This is the original Aramaic spelling of the name for the Christ. The original pronunciation of the Aramaic is uncertain. Using his original Aramaic name is problematic because there is no agreed upon pronunciation. Furthermore, as with his Greek name Jesus, attempting to use his Aramaic name by guessing at its pronunciation only serves to alienate non-Christians. Alienating non-Christians by using an awkward pronunciation of his original name is something I try to avoid.
Christ Jesus was a Man of Science
Mary Baker Eddy, in her religious textbook entitled Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, says, “Jesus of Nazareth was the most scientific man that ever trod the globe” (p. 313:23-24). I believe this to be true. Though I am quite sure most Christian Scientists will be completely surprised to here me say so, the cross in the Cross and Crown trademark of the Christian Science religion is tilted to 23.5 degrees for a reason. That reason is the coming axial tilt. See The Cross and Crown for a discussion. Much like the historical Cross and Crown symbol which the Christian Scientists trademarked, I believe Matthew 24 is one of the least understood chapters in the entire Bible. It is because of the following verse, more so than any other verse in Matthew 24, that I know Joshua was a man of science.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
I believe this is a reference to the coming massive increase in galactic cosmic rays (GCR) flux. See Galactic Cosmic Rays (GCR) cause Lightning for a detailed discussion. I seriously doubt anyone has made this connection prior to me. This is always problem, a failure to realize the “ancients” knew as much or more than us. I have an entire folder full of quotes from well-known writers who proclaim they believe the ancients were more advanced than us but then breakdown at some point and make ridiculous suggestions such as they had no written language. No one really believes there once existed on Earth a people more advanced than us in every conceivable way. Our minds have been trained to think the exact opposite. I doubt seriously though that the ancients used the term galactic cosmic rays (in part because it is a misnomer, they are not rays but highly charged particles), but they did most certainly know that as the Sun grows weak in Aquarius that there is a massive increase in lightning.
Organized Religion (Churches)
For those of you who are not religious, I can only say that I understand. I’ve watched all the Zeitgeist movies. I’ve heard all the arguments that Christ Jesus never lived. Personally, I think they are absurd. The early Christians did not martyr themselves for a fable. They martyred themselves because this man healed the multitudes, raised the dead, and preached the gospel to the poor. They martyred themselves because he was the greatest man who ever lived. On the other hand, Christians of late are evidencing signs of having lost their minds. I cannot think of any better example than the preposterous notion that the Earth is only 6,000 years old. I find it repulsive and even embarrassing that faith in Christ Jesus has been reduced to such nonsense. I was recently attacked at a dinner party for not subscribing to this belief. All I could think to myself was how unchristian was the attack itself. Second only to this Young Earth insanity is the Rapture. The concept of the “rapture” is a form of religious insanity that simply did not exist in Christianity before the end of the eighteenth century. To reduce your faith in Christ Jesus to such nonsense is repulsive. Such Christians invite criticism of their faith by setting themselves apart from the rest of humanity, not unlike the Jewish belief that they are a chosen people. Personally, I have come to detest organized religion (think churches). The stench of hypocrisy is odious. They are dominated by pride of position. There is no love in them. There is no true brotherhood. The simple truth is that the function of most churches today is to collect money to pay the salaries of those adherents fortunate enough to make a living off their congregation. After more than 40 years of close observation, I would include in this condemnation the First Church of Christ, Scientist. For Christian Scientists who take offense from these remarks, I suggest you thoughtfully watch Sue Bissonnette’s YouTube videos. You may be surprised to hear what Mrs. Eddy thought about organized religion. Though it was completed in her lifetime, there is a reason why she never once set foot in the Mother Church extension pictured above. Nevertheless, the Old Testament of the Bible is an important record of earlier planetary catastrophes. And the new testament is the record of a man who clearly had access to the secret knowledge of the Progeny of Pythagoras in his day.
