№ 21. Classical eschatology of the ancient Greeks and Romans

PAGE STATUS: I have only touched the surface of classical Greek and Roman writers who, because they evidently thought two millennia would hide their thoughts from us, spoke with loose tongues, first among them being Virgil.

When the “Celestial Secret” was Public Knowledge

See also page № 8. Origins of the Progeny of Jove circa 1200 BC.

March 23, 687 BC is believed to be the exact date of the last close encounter of Mars and Earth as a consequence of the destabilization of the polar configuration of the planets. In the field of comparative mythology, the comet Venus gets a lot of attention because of the Exodus, but the close encounters with the planet Mars were exceedingly more destructive. As discussed in the following article by Immanuel Velikovsky, the root cause of the cycles of destruction on this planet were common knowledge in those days.

Astronomical Knowledge Before the Deluge

In the Deluge a civilization was destroyed the real value of which is incalculable. Hebrew tradition estimates that the population of the ante-diluvian world “amounted to millions.” Adam is said to have invented seventy languages; Cain, his son, built cities and monuments and ruled over kings. They were representatives of generations. According to Hebrew legends the Deluge and its time had already been predicted by Enoch, and even more ancient generations were said to have erected tablets with calendric and astronomical calculations predicting the catastrophe.(1) This might have been the knowledge of months, of years, and of the periods of comets that the remote generations had acquired.

It was in the celestial harmony and disharmony that the secrets of the upheavals were conceived to lie. The science about the times in which calamity could return and fall on our Earth was cultivated among populations that had a vivid remembrance of days of misfortune or of lucky escape.

It is told about the children of Seth, the son of Adam, that

they were the inventors of that peculiar sort of wisdom which is concerned with the heavenly bodies and their order.

And that their inventions might not be lost before they were sufficiently known, they made two pillars upon Adam’s prediction that the world was to be destroyed at one time by the force of fire and at another time by the violence and quantity of water.

The one was of brick, the other of stone, and they inscribed their discoveries on both, that in case the pillar of brick should be destroyed by the flood, the pillar of stone might remain, and exhibit these discoveries to mankind and also inform them that there was another pillar, of brick, erected by them.(2)

This means that stelae with calendric and astronomical calculations were made public knowledge in that early age. According to the Aggada it was the pious Enoch (the seventh generation) who achieved the deepest knowledge of the celestial secret. He was the man who “walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.”(3) In this ascension to heaven was taken away the man who more than any other knew the plan of the world and of its creation. Enoch was a great man of his generation.

Kings and princes, not less than one hundred and thirty in number, assembled about him, and submitted themselves to his dominion, to be taught and guided by him. Peace reigned thus over the whole world for all the two hundred and forty three years during which the influence of Enoch prevailed.

In the story of Enoch’s ascension it is said that he predicted the disaster.

Enoch was carried into the heavens in a fiery chariot drawn by fiery chargers. The day thereafter the kings who had turned back in good time sent messengers to inquire into the fate of the men who had refused to separate themselves from Enoch, for they had noted the number of them. They found snow and great hailstones upon the spot whence Enoch had risen, and, when they searched beneath, they discovered the bodies of all who had remained behind with Enoch; he alone was not among them: he was high in heaven.

What the Aggada means to tell is that a human being—and one gifted with the greatest “wisdom concerning the heavenly bodies and their order,” was brought away in a fiery storm which killed many, brought snow and meteorites, and which had been predicted by the one who disappeared.

  1. It is said that the real period of grace endured not for seven days, but for 120 years. During this time the flood was over mankind as a threat. (Sanhedrin 108b)

Astronomical Knowledge Before the Deluge, Immanuel Velikovsky [bold-red emphasis added]

I profoundly disagree with Velikovsky on one very important point. Enoch not only left in a spaceship, but I also have very good reason to believe he was taught what he knew about earth’s predicament by extraterrestrial beings.

After 2,600 years of Solar System stability, we cannot even begin to imagine what it must have felt like for the intelligentsia of those days once their astronomers realized Mars was no longer a threat and the Solar System evidently had entered into a period of calm that would last for well over two millennia. There were no secret societies in 2,600 BC because everyone knew the destructive capability of the other planets in the Solar System. And as you have just read, the cause of the cyclic destruction of the planet was widely known. But all of this would change soon. Pythagoras, to whom all secret societies owe their allegiance, is thought to have lived from c. 570 BC to c. 495 BC. The question must be asked, What gave rise to these secret societies? For me, the answer to this question is central to answer the question raised on page № 8. Who are the Progeny of Jove? The answer is in three parts.

One of the first things the great intellects of this time must have realized is that after 2,600 years of such celestial calm, nobody would believe the destructive capability of the other planets.

Now I want to remind you of something I say on my homepage: A diabolical plan dating back thousands of years is coming to fruition. If the realization that after 2,600 years mankind would forget that Earth is subject to cyclic destructions of unimaginable proportions is the first part of the answer to the question of what gave rise to the secret societies, the second part of the answer is that possession of this knowledge would be of source of unimaginable power.

The ancient Greeks and Romans are an excellent source of material when studying the progeny of Jove. Their poets, philosophers, and historians got careless and said things the members of secret societies dating back to 1717 would never dreamed of saying in public more or less committing to writing.

The third part is the diabolical plan. Over such a vast period of time, a determined body of men, the “brotherhood,” could eliminate all other people in possession of this knowledge. And this is precisely what the progeny of Jove have done. And yet we can learn of this “celestial secret” as Immanuel Velikovsky call it, from progeny of Jove in pas ages, particularly classical Greeks and Romans. Why? Why did these ancient poets and philosophers get so careless in their writings? I think the answer to this question is as simple as they felt thinly veiled references would not be noticed by an audience two millennia into the future. In other words, they thought time would obfuscate their real meaning.

For countless generations since the time of Pythagoras, the progeny of Jove slaughtered anyone else who knew the truth, including notably the Druids.

Berossus Caldeus and the “final catastrophe”

READER BEWARE: There are many different spellings for this man’s first and last names and no general agreement even among authorities.

While Berosso (the Wikipedia spelling) was not a progeny of Jove, Seneca the Younger, who is quoted below, most certainly was. Berossus (or Berosso) was a Chaldean priest of Bel. According to Livius.org, “Berossus, who is called Bêl-re’ušunu in cuneiform documents, was a very important official: he was šatammu, head of the temple organization, between 258 and 253 BCE. This office gave him access to the archives of the Esagila, the temple of the Babylonian supreme god Marduk. Using cuneiform texts like the Babylonian chronicles (for the composition of some he must have been responsible) he wrote his three books of Babylonian history. They are unfortunately only known from quotations by later authors (e.g., Flavius Josephus). ” (Seel also Berossus on the Creation.)

Berosus, also spelled Berossus, Berossos, or Berosos, Akkadian Belreʿušu, (flourished c. 290 BC), Chaldean priest of Bel in Babylon who wrote a work in three books (in Greek) on the history and culture of Babylonia dedicated to Antiochus I (c. 324–261 BC). It was widely used by later Greek compilers, whose versions in turn were quoted by religious historians such as Eusebius of Caeserea and Josephus. Thus Berosus, though his work survives only in fragmentary citations, is remembered for his passing on knowledge of the origins of Babylon to the ancient Greeks. –Encyclopaedia Britannica, Berosus [bold-red emphasis added]

In the following quote, it is critical to notice that Belus knows “a definite date for the conflagration and the deluge.”

a definite date for the conflagration and the deluge

So far in antiquity, this is the first and only quote I can find that suggests the progeny of Jove know, or believe they know, an exact date.

Now read for yourself what Lucius Annaeus Seneca (Seneca the Younger) says in Naturales quaestiones.

“Some suppose that in the final catastrophe the earth, too, will be shaken, and through clefts in the ground will uncover sources of fresh rivers which will flow forth from their full source in larger volume. Berosus, the translator of [the records of] Belus, affirms that the whole issue is brought about by the course of the planets. So positive is he on the point that he assigns a definite date both for the conflagration and the deluge All that the earth inherits will, he assures us, be consigned to flame when the planets, which now move in different orbits, all assemble in Cancer, so arranged in one row that a straight line may pass through their spheres. When the same gathering takes place in Capricorn, then we are in danger of the deluge.

Book III. Which Treats of the Different Forms of Water, Section XXIX, Translated by John Clarke, Delphi Complete Works of Seneca the Younger (Illustrated) [bold-red emphasis added]

This makes the following clip from the Tomorrowland movie all the more interesting,

What no one heretofore has noticed about this quote is the following text which describes David Talbot’s “polar configuration” of the planets to a tee.

left double quoteso arranged in one row that a straight line may pass through their spheresright double quote

Now compare these words to a picture of the polar configuration:

This is not a relative size comparison of the planets. This is how they traveled through space, in a straight line, exactly as described by Berosus. So you see, Earth was very close to the gas giant Saturn, which in the context of the polar configuration is referred to as Proto-Saturn because it had no rings and was much larger, larger even than Jupiter.  If you are unfamiliar with the polar configuration of the planets and the work of the comparative mythologist David Talbot, you need to remedy this problem.  You cannot follow my thought without knowing about the last reconfiguration of the planets which resulted in the biblical deluge. My presentation of this material is on page № 82. David Talbott and Wallace Thornhill without whom I would not understand Immanuel Velikovsky, but I recommend you pursue this study on your own and take it as far as you can. These two men are leaders in the only school of thought that has any respectability. I would go as far as recommending you pull your children out of that overpriced college or university, and pay them instead to study these two men and particularly the Electric Universe school of thought. Here is a depiction of how the planets gods looked to the ancients.

The polar configuration of the planets at midnight with Proto-Saturn in the background

Amazing, No?

All of the planets were closer to Earth. Ergo, they were thought of as gods at the time.

My first inclination, before I realized he was referring to a reconfiguration of the planets and a return of the planet gods in our lifetime, was to think he was referring to all of the planets being in a straight line in their current orbital paths. This never happens. Ever. Period. End of conversation. He therefore must have ancient knowledge of the planets reconfiguring on a cyclic basis during apocalyptic times when the entire Solar System is destabilized by electromagnet forces on a scale we can hardly even imagine.

Eclogue 4, Publius Vergilius Maro (Virgil)

I don’t think I shall ever forget the first time I read these words. I knew what they meant.

I used to apologize for quoting this text from Virgil’s Eclogue 4 so frequently until I discovered Novus ordo seclorum (usually translated as “A new order of the ages”) on the one dollar bill was adapted form this very same verse. It does not mean what most people think. You can read about this on page № 53. Great Seal of the United States and the One-Dollar Bill.

The importance of Virgil’s Eclogue 4 for the future of mankind and in understanding our past simply cannot be overstated. This might possibly be the most important verse of all time. Virgil longs to see these days when he says “Ah! might such length of days to me be given;” you will. He lived from October 15, 70 BC to September 21, 19 BC. In other words, he lived and died not long before the birth of Christ Jesus.

These lines from Virgil‘s Eclogue IV foretell an event that has not yet happened.

Assume thy greatness, for the time draws nigh,
Dear child of gods, great progeny of Jove!
See how it totters- the world’s orbed might,
Earth, and wide ocean, and the vault profound,
All, see, enraptured of the coming time!
Ah! might such length of days to me be given

“See how it totters – the world’s orbed might, Earth” is a reference to the coming axial tilt. And “the wide ocean” is a reference to the mountain-high megatsunamis that will follow (along with unimaginable disasters such as mega earthquakes and quite possibly a supervolcano). Is it not at least possible that Daniel the prophet, Virgil, and Christ Jesus (listed here in chronological order) are all referring to the same thing? And if the “vault profound” is a reference to the extensive tunnel systems in Colorado and throughout the Western United States, is it not also possible that the same secret society to which Virgil was privy (the same small group of men) that controlled the Western world then still control it now? And if the “vault profound” was on the drawing boards over 2,000 years ago, can you not see the continuity of this plan through the millennia? Virgil longed to see this day. You will.

Virgil and the other ancients such as Isaiah in the Old Testament are screaming at us to expect an axial tilt, one that I suspect for this planet is as regular as clockwork because of our binary dance with the Sirius star system. Sirius is a gravitational behemoth. Earth is too close to it. Hence Earth is a “defective” planet, quite possibly the freak show of the galaxy. We are routinely doomed, no matter what the configuration of the planets in any given 26,000 year cycle. This defect is why our mathematically insane mainstream scientists and academia think the universe is only 13.8 billion years old, just like a room full of children who have never seen an adult could not imagine anyone older than themselves. When the axial tilt does come it will result in ocean “super” tsunamis that are miles high. They will inundate the shorelines of every continent and, in the case of the United States of America, which is uniquely straddle by both the Pacific and the Atlantic oceans, these super tsunamis will wash over practically the entire country. In the more recent past, for a man of Virgil’s stature to speak so frankly about the coming axial tilt, even in poetry, would have gotten him killed.

These lines of poetry foretell an event that clearly has not happened yet. Virgil lived from October 15, 70 BC to September 21, 19 BC. In other words, he lived and died not long before the birth of the man who founded Christianity. I strongly believe that by the time Daniel “the prophet,” Virgil, and Christ Jesus lived (listed here in chronological order), knowledge of the coming axial tilt was well established in the secret societies of their day. If you are Christian, do not be mistaken as to why the Christ was killed. The Romans knew. Christ Jesus was killed because of the Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24). He was killed to silence him. He was killed to keep us in ignorance about the coming axial tilt. But long before these three men lived and Christ Jesus spoke the words we know as Mathew 24, there was Isiah 24. That both books are so numbered is no mere coincidence, any more than the fact that we are now living at the end of Solar Cycle 24. The progeny of Jove love their numbers, and the number 24 always means the end of something as certainly as it means the end of a day in a 24 hour clock. And yes, I am most definitely suggesting that the chapter and verse numbering of the Bible is deliberate.

An Analysis of the Six Lines from Virgil’s Eclogue IV

Here is a brief analysis of these six lines.

“Assume thy greatness”

Often throughout history the progeny of Jove refer to themselves as “great” such as Alexander the Great, Constantine the GreatGreat Britain, of the Great Cathedrals. As the time draws ever nearer, this greatness becomes more real.

“the time draws nigh”

This phrase is directly comparable to Christ Jesus saying we are “right at the door” in Matthew 24:33. Both men were alive 2,000 years ago.

The urgency is questionable. It cannot be understood except in the context of the ekpyrosis (correct pronunciation) which occurs once every 2160 orbits of Jupiter (or roughly 26,000 years) and the level of destruction about to be visited upon this planet.

Only when thinking of such a vast period of time can you realize that 2,000 years into the future was “the time draws nigh” for Virgil or “right at the door” for Christ Jesus. This requires some imagination, but the progeny of Jove represent a continuity of knowledge that survived the last ekpyrosis. Everything that seems recent to us, including even the birth of Venus in 9500 BC that nearly destroyed the planet and Proto-Saturn exploding followed by the Biblical Deluge in 3100 BC is comparatively recent in this 26,000 year timeframe.

The precession of the equinoxes and the notion that the earth wobbles has been proven to be wrong. The ekpyrosis is a consequence of our binary dance with the Sirius star system.

As bad as 3100 BC was (the beginning of our’s, the Fifth World of the Mesoamericans), 9500 BC was much worse, but the ekpyrosis is unimaginable. It is why mankind has no memory. Almost everyone (on the surface) dies either immediately or in the aftermath. This is why our species suffers from an incurable amnesia. This is why we all look with a kind of morbid fascination and unconscious fear at the Great Pyramid of Giza and the polygonal, megalithic stone structures all over the world. We subconsciously know what they mean. We’ve been wiped out before, evidently in the recent past, and therefore it will most probably happen again. The progeny of Jove think they can survive in the underground tunnels in Colorado and throughout the Western United States of America for which trillions of dollars were siphoned away from U.S. taxpayers.

“Dear child of gods”

The “gods” in this line refers to the planets when the were in the polar configuration. Back then they loomed large in the sky above Earth. Proto-Saturn was our primordial sun. If you do not know that the planets were the gods of yore, start studying the work of David Talbott of The Thunderbolts Project™. The “child” here is used to signify that the knowledge of what is happening to our planets, knowledge of the cyclic destructions that occur every 432 orbits of Jupiter and of the ekpyrosis every 2160 orbits of Jupiter defines these men. Their power or greatness is derived from this knowledge.

“great progeny of Jove

Jupiter or “sky father” (here referred to as Jove) is the Roman equivalent of the Greek Zeus. The orbits of Jupiter and Saturn came too close in 3100 BC and Proto-Saturn exploded (think nova). The resultant seven days of light and the flood that followed are memorialized in the Book of Genesis of the Torah and the Old Testament of Christianity.  Hence, “Jupiter was the chief deity of Roman state religion throughout the Republican and Imperial eras” (Wikipedia). It is from this line that I adopted my use of “progeny of Jove” to refer to a rather small group of men who know everything, not only what is going to happen but when. This knowledge has been transmitted down through the ages until these end times. It survived 9500 BC. It survived 3100 BC. But now it must survive the ekpyrosis. The progeny of Jove are attempting to do this and take with them all of our knowledge and technology. They are the “progeny” of Jove (Jupiter) because Jupiter is a celestial doomsday clock counting down to this “coming time.” Jupiter is the harbinger of the New Word which they so diligently seek. It is what propels them forward.

On a historical note, before I adopted the use of this term “progeny of Jove,” I would refer to the same group of men as the “progeny of Pythagoras,” but it is a mistake to think that this group of men date only from the time of Pythagoras. Pythagoras was one of them, but they predated him by thousands of years. For a brief period of time, I referred to them as the “beast” (of Revelation). They are indeed precisely to whom the author of Revelation was referring, but I did not like that term because it has too much religious baggage.

Finally, I decided to adopt “progeny of Jove” from Virgil‘s Eclogue IV. It is by far the most descriptive term. It will take the reader considerable time to fully realize the importance of Virgil‘s Eclogue IV to the men who founded the United States of America, which makes “progeny of Jove” all the more appropriate.

“See how it totters- the world’s orbed might, Earth, and wide ocean, and the vault profound

This is a reference to the coming axial tilt and the megatsunamis that follow. The “vault profound” is the extensive underground tunnels in Denver Colorado and throughout the Western United States. The Denver, Colorado location was scouted out several thousand years ago. It is geographically unique throughout the entire world, a 1.08 billion year old granite batholith (the Front Range) at high altitudes almost 1,000 miles from the nearest ocean. Nothing else like it exists in the entire world. It baffles geologists. The amount of planning that has gone into it boggles the mind. Denver International Airport is the reception center. In these high-tech caves, the progeny of Jove hope to accomplish what no previous highly developed society on Earth has ever done before, which is to survive the ekpyrosis with enough food and water (from the Cheesman dam) and other supplies and all of the knowledge of our world in tact (copies of patent databases and the Wikipedias of the world), including highly advanced technologies that we do not know even exist (such as the “directed energy weapon” used to destroy the Twin Towers and Building 7 on 9/11 as well as “free” energy and anti-gravity propulsion).

Their vision of the future has been captured in Walt Disney’s “Tomorrowland” movie. You cannot understand them without watching this movie.

“All, see, enraptured of the coming time!”

Few people know that the word providence has two distinct meanings. The second, lesser known meaning is “timely preparation for future eventualities.” When the progeny of Jove use this word that is the meaning it carries. It has nothing to do with God. The all-seeing “Eye of Providence” is the Great Red Spot on Jupiter because Jupiter is a celestial doomsday clock . It has been counting down 2160 orbits for the past 25,621.488 years and that countdown ended on December 16, 2018. The “coming time” in now. Enraptured means “give intense pleasure or joy to.” That may seem like a peculiar attitude towards something that is going to kill billions of people in a very short period of time, unless you have been preparing for it for thousands of years. The only thing that matters to the progeny of Jove is surviving the ekpyrosis. You live in an entirely fabricated reality. While you are distracted by the political circus of the Trump administration, they are making last minute preparations for the New World of Tomorrowland.

“Ah! might such length of days to me be given”

Virgil longed to see this day. Unless you are reading this on your deathbed, you will.

Literary Criticism

Ironically, Christians since the middle ages have held that the Cumaean Sibyl of Virgil’s Ecologue IV prophesied the birth of Jesus Christ and that it was this arrival of the Savior that gave rise to “the majestic roll of circling centuries begins anew,” or New Order of the Ages. Virgil himself was believed to be a prophet in this regard, and that is why Dante Alighieri selected him as his guide through the underworld in The Divine Comedy. —”Talk Of Apocalypse Reaches From US President Down

I’m afraid these boys have it all wrong. Virgil was anticipating something quite different from the Christ. Dante did not select Virgil to be the guide through the underworld in The Divine comedy because he thought Virgil was a prophet, but because of his frankness in telling us what is about to happen. The following literary critic of Eclogue 4 is from the Classics Network.

The child in Virgil’s Eclogue 4 is a Messiah of a different type. It is a generic reference to the progeny of Jove, “a new lineage is sent down from high heaven.” Virgil is looking down through the ages to the coming axial tilt and thinking of those who will survive it in the Vault Profound to populate the earth anew, which despite centuries of convoluted interpretations as to the meaning of this poem, is pretty much exactly what he says—in plain English Latin I might add.

The more I learn about the truth, the more I realize that academia makes its living making reckless guesses. Centuries of guessing what Virgil’s Eclogue 4 means to no avail. All by men infinitely more respectable than I. They know nothing about the world in which we live. What they do know, or think they know, is in great measure nothing more or less than mathematical insanity, a figment of their collect imagination. Yet if you suggest that they are wrong about something, they will bury you in a vile and vicious personal attack in which they regurgitate the wisdom of the ages as sure of their correctness as they are of the many books on which they base their opinions. What does this say about our educational system?

The child in Virgil’s Eclogue 4 is a Messiah of a different type. It is a generic reference to the progeny of Jove and their unborn generations to come.

…the work, much like Eclogue 6, is not so much concerned with pastoral themes, as it is with cosmological concepts…In line 4, the speaker references the Cumaean Sibyl, claiming it as a source for his unfolding prophecy concerning the magnus ordo saeclorum, or “great order of the ages”. The following lines (ll. 5–10) reference a myriad grouping of ideas: Hesiod’s Ages of Man; the concept of a magnus annus, or the “Great Year” that begins a great age; the Italian idea of saecula; Plato’s idea that there is a periodic rule of Saturn;  —Wikipedia

Virgil and the Messianic Eclogue
Ethics and theology in Virgil’s Eclogues.

The Roman poet Virgil had, by the thirteen and fourteenth centuries AD, acquired a reputation as the anima naturaliter Christiana. This is Latin for the “soul of the natural Christian” and it came as the result of the interpretation of some of his poetry, especially the fourth Eclogue. This reputation has stayed with Virgil since that time and it certainly played a role in preserving his poetry when other poetry was lost during the Dark Ages after the fall of Rome in 476 AD. Although Virgil lived before the advent of Jesus Christ and Christianity, it was proposed that his poetry anticipated a Christian ethic before Jesus Christ was born. It is in the fourth of ten Eclogues that this was demonstrated most dramatically.

The Eclogues are a series of ten poems that Virgil wrote circa 40 BC. The majority of these poems deal with shepherds and their various concerns. The fourth Eclogue is decidedly different in this respect. In the poem Virgil makes several statements about a child destined to bring a Golden Age and free the world from fear. Early Christian scholars (such as Saint Augustine) read this poem and concluded that this child that Virgil spoke of had to be the Messiah: Jesus Christ. Later writers, such as the Italian poet Dante, would also interpret this poem to be a prophecy regarding the Christ. More recently in the seventeenth century, John Dryden stated in his introduction to the fourth Eclogue:

“Many of the verses are translated from one of the Sibyl’s, who prophesied of our Saviour’s birth.” [1]

Below is an extended quote from the fourth Eclogue. Consider how this could be interpreted in light of Christian theology.

Now the last age by Cumae’s Sibyl sung
Has come and gone, and the majestic roll
Of circling centuries begins anew:
Justice returns, returns old Saturn’s reign,
With a new breed of men sent down from heaven.
Only do thou, at the boy’s birth in whom
The iron shall cease, the golden age arise?
Under thy guidance, whatso tracks remain
Of our old wickedness, once done away
Shall free the earth from never-ceasing fear.
He shall receive the life of gods, and see
Heroes with gods commingling, and himself
Be seen of them, and with his father’s worth
Reign o’er a world at peace. [2]

This passage talks about the birth of a boy who will bring a Golden Age to the world. One in which wickedness will be taken away and the earth will be freed from fear. This unnamed child will also “receive the life of gods” and “Reign o’er a world at peace.” Compare these ideas to those found in the book of Isaiah in the Old Testament. The Book of Isaiah was written circa 700 BC by the Jewish prophet of the same name. The following passage was interpreted by the Jews as referring to the Messiah, the “chosen one”, who would come from God to save Israel. Christians believe it refers directly to Jesus Christ. Consider the themes in the above quote from Virgil when reading this passage from Isaiah 9:6-7 from the King James Version of the Bible:

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”

The similarities between these two passages are striking and both contain similar ideas about a chosen one of God or the gods coming to earth to bring a better way of life. In Christian theology, Jesus Christ came into the world to free humanity from its sins and offer eternal salvation to those who would accept Him in their hearts. This surely would “free the world from never-ceasing fear.” If Virgil?s promised child would “Reign o’er a world at peace”, would that not correspond with Isaiah’s “Prince of Peace?” It is easy to see why this poem was interpreted as referring to Christ. Adding to this belief is how the end of the fourth Eclogue foretold that the time this child would come would be very soon. Virgil wrote this poem about forty years before the birth of Jesus, which is the blink of an eye in prophetic time. That passage reads:

By Destiny’s unalterable decree,
Assume thy greatness, for the time draws nigh,
Dear child of gods, great progeny of Jove!
See how it totters ? the world?s orbed might,
Earth, and the wide ocean, and the vault profound,
All, see enraptured of the coming time. [3]

Recent scholarship on the question of the fourth Eclogue has not generally taken the interpretation favored by Saint Augustine, Dante, Dryden or the author of this essay. In fact, no living modern scholar that I know of endorses the link between the fourth Eclogue and Old Testament prophecy that is suggested here. This can be readily explained by a general reluctance among scholars to embrace the supernatural as a plausible explanation for anything. We live in a skeptical age that distrusts all things it cannot explain. Furthermore, there is always the risk the scholar in question will be mocked by his peers or not given tenure if he makes waves with antiquated ideas about Eclogue IV. Be this as it may, I would challenge the reader to consider what has been presented here and investigate for himself. Is it intellectually honest to dismiss an idea merely because there is a supernatural element? Is a messianic interpretation impossible and thus so easy to dismiss? Read the entire fourth Eclogue and draw your own conclusions. Regardless of how the reader decides this question, the fourth Eclogue cannot be ignored in the study of Virgil. The Christian monks that saved much of Western literature after Rome fell believed this poem foretold the coming of Christ. If they had not believed this, the culturally invaluable work of Virgil may have gone to oblivion and the cost to Western culture would have been incalculable.

Eclogue IV (full text)

From the Internet Classics Archive

Muses of Sicily, essay we now
A somewhat loftier task! Not all men love
Coppice or lowly tamarisk: sing we woods,
Woods worthy of a Consul let them be.
The iron shall cease, the golden race arise,
Befriend him, chaste Lucina; ’tis thine own
Apollo reigns. And in thy consulate,
This glorious age, O Pollio, shall begin,
And the months enter on their mighty march.
Under thy guidance, whatso tracks remain
Of our old wickedness, once done away,
Shall free the earth from never-ceasing fear.
He shall receive the life of gods, and see
Heroes with gods commingling, and himself
Be seen of them, and with his father’s worth
Reign o’er a world at peace. For thee, O boy,
First shall the earth, untilled, pour freely forth
Her childish gifts, the gadding ivy-spray
With foxglove and Egyptian bean-flower mixed,
And laughing-eyed acanthus. Of themselves,
Untended, will the she-goats then bring home
Their udders swollen with milk, while flocks afield
Shall of the monstrous lion have no fear.
Thy very cradle shall pour forth for thee
Caressing flowers. The serpent too shall die,
Die shall the treacherous poison-plant, and far
And wide Assyrian spices spring. But soon
As thou hast skill to read of heroes’ fame,
And of thy father’s deeds, and inly learn
What virtue is, the plain by slow degrees
With waving corn-crops shall to golden grow,
From the wild briar shall hang the blushing grape,
And stubborn oaks sweat honey-dew. Nathless
Yet shall there lurk within of ancient wrong
Some traces, bidding tempt the deep with ships,
Gird towns with walls, with furrows cleave the earth.
Therewith a second Tiphys shall there be,
Her hero-freight a second Argo bear;
New wars too shall arise, and once again
Some great Achilles to some Troy be sent.
Then, when the mellowing years have made thee man,
No more shall mariner sail, nor pine-tree bark
Ply traffic on the sea, but every land
Shall all things bear alike: the glebe no more
Shall feel the harrow’s grip, nor vine the hook;
The sturdy ploughman shall loose yoke from steer,
Nor wool with varying colours learn to lie;
But in the meadows shall the ram himself,
Now with soft flush of purple, now with tint
Of yellow saffron, teach his fleece to shine.
While clothed in natural scarlet graze the lambs.
“Such still, such ages weave ye, as ye run,”
Sang to their spindles the consenting Fates
By Destiny’s unalterable decree.
Assume thy greatness, for the time draws nigh,
Dear child of gods, great progeny of Jove!
See how it totters- the world’s orbed might,
Earth, and wide ocean, and the vault profound,
All, see, enraptured of the coming time!
Ah! might such length of days to me be given,
And breath suffice me to rehearse thy deeds,
Nor Thracian Orpheus should out-sing me then,
Nor Linus, though his mother this, and that
His sire should aid- Orpheus Calliope,
And Linus fair Apollo. Nay, though Pan,
With Arcady for judge, my claim contest,
With Arcady for judge great Pan himself
Should own him foiled, and from the field retire.
Begin to greet thy mother with a smile,
O baby-boy! ten months of weariness
For thee she bore: O baby-boy, begin!
For him, on whom his parents have not smiled,
Gods deem not worthy of their board or bed.

The emphasis is on EXACT knowledge

Now the Christian reader will vehemently object that Christ Jesus said otherwise, not once, but multiple times.

Matthew 24:36-44

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

I understand this objection better than you may think. My religious leader also knew exactly what is going to happen, but she “dare not say.” You think Christ Jesus and important historical figures such as Mary Baker Eddy are exempt from the threat of death for speaking the truth, but you are mistaken. This is precisely what the progeny of Jove did. They brutally murdered him (or at least tried to) a couple of days after he began to speak in detail about the coming destruction of the world. Do not be so literal in your interpretation of what this man said. My study of the end times began in Matthew 24, and if I know one thing about the Bible, it is this; what has become known to us as the Olivet Discourse, which I discuss on page № 20. Matthew 24-25, Mark 13, & Luke 5-36 (“Olivet Discourse”), is some of the most misunderstood text every committed to writing. Some sentences are so subtle it took me years to discover their true meaning. There is an historical context in which Christ Jesus must be understood. He knew that if he was too specific that the progeny of Jove would stop at nothing to completely erase any memory of his existence. This is perhaps why he says over and over again that no one knows the day. To this day, I suspect that this was his way of alerting us to the possibility that there is an exact date known not only to the Roman elite, who were the progeny of Jove in his time, but to others.

Now read for yourself what Lucius Annaeus Seneca (Seneca the Younger) says in Naturales quaestiones.

Some suppose that in the final catastrophe the earth, too, will be shaken, and through clefts in the ground will uncover sources of fresh rivers which will flow forth from their full source in larger volume. Berosus, the translator of [the records of] Belus, affirms that the whole issue is brought about by the course of the planets. So positive is he on the point that he assigns a definite date both for the conflagration and the deluge. All that the earth inherits will, he assures us, be consigned to flame when the planets, which now move in different orbits, all assemble in Cancer, so arranged in one row that a straight line may pass through their spheres. When the same gathering takes place in Capricorn, then we are in danger of the deluge.  —Book III. Which Treats of the Different Forms of Water, Section XXIX, Translated by John Clarke, Delphi Complete Works of Seneca the Younger (Illustrated) [bold red emphasis added]

Seneca the Younger is telling us in plain English Latin that the progeny of Jove know the precise date

I cannot say if Seneca the Younger is engaging in deliberate misdirection or just misinformed, but “the whole issue is brought about by the course of the planets” is nonsense. The combined gravitation strength of all the planets is minuscule. A very long time ago I spent months looking into this possibility until finally the obvious dawned on me. There are a limited number of planets and their possible combinations are simply too limited for one particular combination to cause a catastrophe of this magnitude. If that were even remotely possible, the planets would routinely disturb the solar system as they would of mathematical necessity come close to such a mythical combination on a fairly routine basis, and they do not. The solar system has been remarkably stable (as is the entire electromagnetic universe in general) since Mars settled down into its present orbital path and gave rise to the Romans. But I will say this, knowing what I know now and looking one last time into the potential influence of the planets in these end times, I believe I have finally come to the realization of why Capricornus is so important to the progeny of Jove.

Think of this as an assurance to the 144,000 who are waiting

The audience for the following related scene is the 144,000 in the Book of Revelation, the book of the progeny of Jove. “What if there was a way of skipping the middleman and putting the critical news directly into everyone’s head” is a description of what the Tomorrowland movie is doing. It is speaking directly to the 144,000.

The emphasis on “58 days” caught my attention because it is without context. We’re counting down in seconds, so the conversion to seconds seemed obvious.

58 Days = 5,011,200 Seconds

5 + 11 + 200 = 216

This reference to 216 confirms that this is a deadly game we are playing. When you learn the year (and you will, soon I believe), do not be afraid. I am not. Get strong. Stop wasting your time with politics, sports, and mainstream media. Go about your business as usual. Do not tell others. Tell them of me, but follow my example and do not tell them the year. Do not take from them the moment of realization. And if they do not listen, let them be. This news is not for everyone. Enjoy these last few years we have left. Stay with me. I will tell you exactly what to do.

The first thing they did in their quest for supremacy was to send Alexander the Great to utterly destroy the Persian empire which, much like the United States of America today, ruled the world for 250 years. Even Christ Jesus stopped short of telling us the whole truth. And in his Second Coming, his “scribe under orders” said she “dare not say.” Who am I to cross this line? You are closer to the truth than you know. Listen! Listen! Listen!

Do they know the exact date? Yes, they do. I became aware of this on November 1, 2019 while writing this webpage. Conveying that date to the 144,000 is the purpose of the Tomorrowland movie. Figuring out the year is child’s play. Everything you need is on this page. For those of you who cannot, I offer you this consultation prize for caring enough to be on my website. We have only a few short years left. You may resent me for not just telling you. I understand. I would want to know, too. Here I will defer to Christ Jesus.

Luke 13:24
Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

The exact date is much more subtle, but not outside the reach of anyone who commits himself or herself to that end. The exact date of the Apocalypse was encoded in two sequential parts by the Tomorrowland production team. One of those two parts is on this webpage in a form more accessible than anywhere else. The other one is in the Tomorrowland movie. I can tell you only that when you put the two together, there will be no doubt in your mind. You now know what gave Alexander the Great and his troops the strength to defeat one of the most powerful empires that ever existed. Be wise. Be strong. I will be waiting for you on Monjeau. It looks like this thing was crested last time, so I’m really hoping ET shows up, too. But at the very least, we will have a great view of something very few human beings have ever seen before, the end of a world. In truth my reason for not just telling you are manifold, but I feel no obligation to explain myself. I will say this though. One of the first things you are going to have to do take me deadly serious. You would be wise to do so.

On second thought, let me help you out a little bit.

  • DATES AND TIMES: You’re looking for a year and a date, so it would make sense to pay attention to dates and times, all forms or expressions of time, especially durations
  • THE YEAR FIRST: Don’t even think about looking for the exact date until you are sure you have the year. I would recommend spending at least two or three weeks looking for a slew of evidence that you have the year right. Everything you need to find the year is on my website. That makes sense because I spent seven years trying to find it and the whole time I was working on this website
  • MAYA LONG COUNT CALENDAR: Don’t expect to figure out the year unless you first study my work on the Maya Long Count calendar. Good luck with that. It’s a mess. I never came close to finishing it because along the way I came to realize the progeny of Jove were remarkably successful in making people think it meant nothing. As I say in big letters on page № 25. The Maya Long Count Calendar is the Greatest Intellectual Work of All Time, “Even attempting to discuss the significance of this ancient calendar which once captivated the imagination of an entire world is now passé and invites ridicule, if not disdain or utter contempt”
  • CONFIRMATION: If you figure out the exact date, send me an email asking for confirmation. I’ll completely ignore it. If you’re wrong, I’ll hit the reply button and press send. If you’re going to abuse this privilege, be prepared to get a lot of email addresses because you only get to do this once for any given email address. Use Google mail. I will not answer any other. The subject line must be exactly “Request for confirmation of the exact date of the Apocalypse” (case sensitive). Nothing else. Do not send just a year. I will not confirm the year, only an exact date. Don’t worry about being off by one day. I understand. This also provides me with a mechanism to let the progeny of Jove know that I have indeed finally arrived at the date. And I can confirm the date for any of the 144,000 who are not sure of themselves. Helping them without blurting out either the year or the exact date may be the only reason I am alive

If I think of other things I can add to this list, I will. Though most of what I am saying here is so that when you figure it out you will be sure of yourself.
