ASL. Skull and Bones “Ossa patriarchum tradita ut deos veneramur”

Source: WorthPoint, RARE 1862 SKULL & BONES DOCUMENT ROSTER SECRET SOCIETY YALE BONESMEN CW BULL

Their description of this document is as follows:

A rare piece of Ephemeral American, 1862 Roster of membership on special stationary with Skull, Bones & 322. An announcement of a meeting of the Early Fraternity of the Skull & Bones Society. Inside is a list of 15 members and where they live and has name of CW Bull (Cornelius) on front. A Yale College Secret Society Lodge 322 illuminati Ivy League group founded in 1832. Folded long ago and slightly dusty with little tears. As is as found.

Of course the “Lodge 322 Illuminati” reference is nonsense and is not written anywhere on the document. This translates into “Patriarchal bones were delivered to the gods to honor them.”  The date is July 31, 1862, which mens the Civil War is in its second year when this meeting was held.

Patriarchal bones were delivered to the gods to honor them

Make no mistake, the “gods” referenced in this quote are the Skull and Bones members.

I show the original image followed by three closeups that were made available at the source. I made no modifications to these documents, not even the file names. I cherish these photos. They were a Great find. Henceforth, all of my Skull and Bones images will be the one below.
