2018 AD and End Times “Prophesy”

Funny thing predicting the end of the world. By definition, no one has ever been right. To make matters worse, the first person to be right will be the last one to have predicted the end of the world. And no one will be around to know that he was right. What idiot would want to join the ranks of those who have made such predictions? This is especially true since December 21, 2012 when a considerable number of people were genuinely concerned that something may happen. Now the Mesoamerican (misnamed “Mayan”) Long Count calendar is passé. Now everyone is sure that thinking the world is coming to an end is just plain nonsense. We are all too smart for that now. Such predictions are now met with richly deserved derision and disdain.

Yet if there is a contingent of men who know not only exactly what is going to happen but the year in which it is going to happen also, would they not do everything within their considerable power to make sure no one saw this coming? This is what makes it so frustrating to see evidence that something is about to happen right when everyone has been conditioned to dismiss that possibility out of hand. I can only liken it to going back in time to NAZI Germany and trying to convince the Hitler Youth that they are making a mistake. To my way of thinking, the real stupidity lies in thinking that if there was ever any truth to December 21, 2012 that the powers-that-be would have ever released this date into the public domain. Knowledge of the end times is some of the most guarded information on the planet and has been for at least two and a half millennia. If what they are hiding is in fact the ekpyrosis, (a once-every-26,000-years destruction of the planet), six to seven billion people are about to die. Misdirection and distraction would be at a feverish pitch right before the end. The last thing in the world the contingent of men I call the Progeny of Pythagoras is going to do is let information they have kept hidden for thousands of years seep into general thought. What they have done is cry wolf so many times that even broaching this subject is dangerous if you give a damn what people think about you. I do not.

The reasons why I think 2018 may be the last year of the Gregorian calendar are getting lost as the volume of this work continues to expand. So to celebrate the new year, I am going to consolidate those reasons here and provide links to more in depth conversations. While it is tempting to downplay the importance of some of these reasons, the truth is I take them all quite seriously. On the other hand, a regular joke around this house is that all of this is going to make a great fictional work someday if I am wrong. And yes I allow for that possibility. So let me now unapologetically join the ranks of those idiots who would predict the end of the world.

This is the most important encoding of the year ever devised because when it came time for Christ Jesus to tell his disciples when to expect “the end of the world” the last sign he gives is a clear reference to the Book of Daniel.

Implosion

From NFL halftime shows to fiat currency, all systems are pushed to the limited and on the brink of self-destruction. in Matthew 24:15-18 (the last sign before the end), I discuss the last sign before the end as found in Matthew 24. What I want to discuss in this section is a natural consequence of this last sign, an extension of it, if you will. It is for me the strongest indication that 2018 will be the last year of the Gregorian calendar.

A Greater Awareness of The Approaching Time

All systems are failing, but there will not be a fiat currency problem, nor will the stock market crash as id did during the Depression. The obvious consequences of both would be to put millions of people on the Interstates in search of food and water. At the last minute in order to get everyone to the granite tunnels in the Front Range batholith, the “Progeny of Pythagorus” would need to be in control of both the Interstates and all of the major airports in at least North America, Europe, and possibly Australia. This necessitates grounding all flights except theirs, especially in the airspace above Colorado. Likewise vehicular traffic on Interstates will be blocked to all except the lucky few who have an engraved invitations to the most exclusively party ever held, the closing of the outer gates to the underground tunnel systems intended to ferry them through time to their “Tomorrowland” inspired reality without all of us sticks-in-the-mud. (Everyone in the Tomorrowland movie is a sharp cookie, without exception.)

In the case of the stock market, there is an RT.com article recently published entitled Why did the US stock market crash on Monday? Blame the central banks that clearly explains the mechanism used to control stock prices. Quite the opposite of a financial disaster looming on the horizon, stocks and bonds, our currency, and markets in general will remain calm and bullish right up to the end.

There are two signs you need to take very seriously. The first is the crashing of the Internet (a sudden or cascading NATIONWIDE outage). That could indicate either a military alliance between China and Russia (because I do not think any lessor alliance mutually pledging their fidelity to one another could defeat and obliterate the United States of America). The second sign is a move by the Federal Reserve probably best characterized as the rats jumping ship. This would take the form of a dollar crash followed by a complete collapse of the markets. I do not believe in this scenario for reasons stated above; namely, the obvious consequences of such a move would be to put millions of people on the Interstates in search of food and water. That is a loss of control that simply cannot be risked, especially not for the sake of money which will be completely worthless in the near future. As the history of the sale of gold bullion by England clearly indicates, money at this point is already disposable and has been for some time (at least for the nations of U.S.A. and England, if not for individuals). All that really matters is where the gold resides and that it be recoverable post the “event” (e.g. NYC underwater).

All systems are failing. Allow me to repeat myself thrice: All systems are failing. Everything exists in some version of the extreme mode, from the bullion markets where no one is even sure the gold exists, to derivatives which are a suicide pact if WALL STREET’s most subtle money laundering operation is uncovered, to militarized police forces and millions of Muslims being forced to immigrate into hostile cultures, with all the violence that pursues. The horror of police brutality in the United States of America at this time reminds of evening meals with Vietnam savagery playing in the background. Seeing this for yourself requires stepping back in order to get the big picture. Once you do so, once you see that all systems are running in the extreme, that is when you must ask yourself the all important question, Why now? Why is this happening? The answer to that question is closely related to my definition of the last sign given in Matthew 24, which is encoded as the “abomination of desolation” in the Book of Daniel. I can summarize it as only the appearance of a loss of control. What it is in reality is that those in control can worry less about the masses because the end of the present world order is fast coming to a close. In other words, they don’t give a damn anymore.

Metaphorically, everyone is getting dressed for the big event, which for them at least is a closing of the outer doors of their tunnel systems. “Full speed ahead.” The propaganda machine is humming. We are printing dollars “like there’s no tomorrow.” Well, maybe there is no tomorrow for the dollar and for most of the world’s population. Maybe it is what it looks like, which is an indication that “Tomorrowland” is about to become their only reality. Maybe this idea thought of as “all systems are failing” is just a different perspective on my interpretation of the “abomination of desolation” in the Book of Daniel. And maybe, just maybe, the man who probably spent months if not years composing in his head what we now know as the Olivet Discourse (and who may well have paid for it with an end to his earthly existence), maybe what Christ Jesus says in Matthew 24, and Daniel in the book named after him, and Virgil in his Latin poetry when he says “See how it totters- the world’s orbed might, Earth, and wide ocean,” or that Mary Baker Eddy (in her chapter perhaps not unintentionally named “Apocalypse”) speaks of when she alludes to the upcoming axial tilt by referencing the opening of the Sixth Seal in Revelation (quoted below), perhaps all of these individuals are talking about the same thing and it really is about to happen. Clearly, the Olivet Discourse was intended to alert us that the time is at hand, whenever that may be.

Revelation 6
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 for the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Revelation 18

Though it may be a study in confirmation bias, I have held it as a matter of religious dogma that the chapter and verse numbering of Matthew 24 and Revelation 18 is not by accident. The number 24 always signifies an end to something, starting with the 24 hour day. Obviously, Matthew 24 is Christ Jesus speaking about the end times, but I would go further and suggest this is why Matthew is the first of the four Gospels. Revelation 18 is not so obvious. Here is the text:

And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: the merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, and cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, and saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, and cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city! And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; and the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

if you throw a pebble in water it causes a ripple. If you throw in a “great millstone” it causes a big wave. This I believe is a reference to the coming axial tilt. Bear with me now for I feel compelled to share this knowing that it will invite ridicule. I have my reasons. Compare this repetitive mention of the day and the hour to Matthew 24 in which Christ Jesus tells us over and over again that no man knoweth the “day or the hour;”

Matthew 24:36
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Matthew 24:42-44
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Matthew 24:50
the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

Matthew 25:13
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

One thing we can be sure of is that the author of the Book of Daniel has read Matthew 24. I cannot help but to see a similarity in these two chapters. Revelation 18 has 24 verses (see below).

Were some entity making a supreme effort to communicate to us the year of the apocalypse using the Bible, would it not exactly here in the Book of Revelation? In order to not have a violent reaction to this suggestion, you need to consider that the Bible is to Western civilization what the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar is to the ancients in Central America. It is the vessel by which knowledge of the end times is communicated. Only by accepting this as fact can you begin to also accept the possibility that this can be deliberate. Or it’s just confirmation bias because such an effort would require some measure of coordination of all of the following:

  • Year in which Christ Jesus is born (Dionysius Exiguus  AD 470 – c. AD 544)
  • Chapter numbering (Stephen Langton (c. 1150 – 1228)
  • Verse numbering (Robert Estienne (1503 – 1559)

It is notable that Robert Estienne was a “Catholic who became a Protestant late in his life” (Wikipedia).

How natural are the verse numbers? After completing the following exercise, I would have to say there is no evidence of Estienne stretched or shrunk verses to make them total 24.

I believe they incorrectly thought the axial tilt would occur in 2017 based on a misunderstanding of the end date of the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar, which is why they resurfaced as the Freemasons in 1717, two seventeens, or 2017.
